Isaiah 49:24- “Shall the prey be taken from the mighty or the captives of the righteous be delivered? But thus says the LORD: “Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible be delivered; for I will contend with him who contends with you, and I will save your children.”<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

God Almighty did great wonders in the life of our brother that left everyone thrilled. <\/span>Read his testimony.<\/span><\/p>\n

My name is Brother. Okoro Victor Okpai. I want to thank God for delivering me from the hands of kidnappers. <\/span>I was kidnapped on my way to school, on the 27th of May, 2023. I saw other victims there as well. We were taken to a bush around Kogi-Abuja road. We stayed there for days.<\/span><\/p>\n

On the 1st of June 2023, around 10-11 pm, something strange happened. We were five people that were kidnapped. <\/span>They gave everyone’s family a ransom to pay for our release. So, the other four people, their families were negotiating the price for their release. That very day, they released the other four remaining me. <\/span>So, they came to me and asked me, where is your people, are they not bringing the money? I told them that I am a Chosen thrice. They were angry and collected my phone.<\/span><\/p>\n

They called my sister and asked is it if you people do not care about your brother that we are holding here? My sister told them that the money they were demanding, had been sowed as a seed at the altar of the God of Chosen. So, they should go to the altar and collect it from God. They told me that it was like my sister was not serious.<\/span><\/p>\n

They called my father and asked him is it that you want to use the money to buy another child abroad or what?” My father told them that they can’t do anything to me because I am a Chosen, besides, the money they were demanding for, the family had given it to God, so they should collect it from God. My Daddy frightened them the more by telling them that the Angel of God was standing in front of them, so they should collect the money from Him. <\/span>
\nThey looked at me asked my father to repeat what he just said, which he did. <\/span>Immediately, they got provoked and became very furious. They brought out their matchet and cut my head. At that point, I was shouting I am a Chosen because I know what the God of Chosen can do.<\/span><\/p>\n

I was astonished when I checked myself only to discover that the matchet did not penetrate. There was no blood. The only thing left to trace the incident was a scratch of the matchet on my body. <\/span>That was how God diverted and converted a big matchet cut on my head and turned it into a minor cut on my head. <\/span>When they saw that the matchet did not enter my head, they were dumbfounded. Immediately, they paved the way for me to pass, then they asked me to “RUN AWAY FROM HERE”.<\/span><\/p>\n

Right in front of us, there was a police checkpoint, I ran to them, and the policemen took me to a nearby clinic where I received medical attention. I slept in the station that night. <\/span>That was how God prevented the kidnappers from wasting my life.<\/span><\/p>\n
