God’s power is limitless, and His protection is unfailing. There are moments in life when we encounter danger and uncertainty, but it is in those very moments that His hand moves mightily, shielding us and turning impossible situations around. My name is Sister Jennifer Geci, and I joined the Chosen in 2020. I thank God for making me and my family a Chosen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have been actively involved in evangelism, even reaching out to groups like the Yahoo Boys. Sometimes, I would give them money and share my contact information, trusting that the God of the Chosen would use me to win souls for Him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It happened that these men became angry. They tricked me through my business, pretending to be interested in buying land. We arranged to meet at a location to discuss the transaction. When I arrived, I quickly realized that they were not land buyers but kidnappers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Before I could react, one of them slapped me and forced me into their car. They covered my eyes and mouth with plaster and gave me black glasses to wear, so even if the police stopped us, no one would know I was blindfolded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They took me to a place I didn\u2019t recognize. Early in the morning, around 4 am, they moved me because the police were tracking them. They took my phone and began messaging people from my contacts, demanding \u20a62.5 billion in ransom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the second location, one of them told me they were going to remove the plaster from my eyes so I could see my captors. They said I was paying for my sins. As they stood in front of me, one of them read a message from my phone that said, “I am a Chosen, I am a Chosen.” He told me that saying I\u2019m a Chosen wouldn\u2019t help, and the only thing that would save me was the \u20a62.5 billion they were demanding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another captor came in, showing me a message sent by one of my pastors. The message contained an apron that said, “I am a Chosen.” The man told me to inform my pastor that they wanted \u20a62.5 billion and that the only person they wanted to negotiate with was my General Overseer (Pastor Lazarus Muoka). I told them they could find his number on my phone, but despite searching, they couldn’t locate it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of them mocked me, saying, “You Chosen people are trending online. You think you\u2019ll get away with this, but no one will see you again. When they find your corpse with an apron that says \u2018Chosen,\u2019 we\u2019ll see what your God will do.” They laughed, saying they would kill me if the money wasn\u2019t paid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During this time, the leader of the kidnappers slapped me twice because I blocked access to my bank account when he gave me my phone to unlock it. He threatened to kill me if the money wasn\u2019t paid within 24 hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But then, the angel of my pastor appeared in the dream of the one whose heart was hardened. He flogged the man three times and told him to release me. Their leader later came to me, showed me my phone with a picture of my G.O., and said, “Your G.O. is truly a man of God. We wanted to kill you after getting the money, but since I had that dream, I have lost my peace. I will return you to where I picked you.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He removed the plaster from my eyes, untied my hands, and told me he couldn\u2019t bear the thought of killing me after the dream. For the three days I was in captivity, the God of Chosen kept me. I neither felt hunger nor thirst.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At around 6 pm that day, the man drove me back to where they had kidnapped me. My eyes were still covered, but once we arrived, he loosened my hands and told me to remove the plasters on me myself. He then drove away. I called my family and returned home without paying any ransom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
